My story
The Knutty Knitters have been fundraising since raffling the Royal Wedding in 2011. Christine was a founder member of our group and we miss her very much. We are currently knitting the (life-sized) knitivity tableau in her memory. She was lovingly cared for at St Peter's Hospice for her final days in December 2011.
The Knitivity will be 'on tour' throughout December to raise funds for the Hospice (tour dates below) Please visit one of the events if you can.
We have the full support of Christine's family for this project and wish to thank all those who have donated to the 'wool fund'

St Peter's Hospice
Charity Registration No. 269177
St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's only adult hospice caring for local people with incurable illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. Last year we cared for over 2,000 patients and supported over 6,000 family members, including children. 85% of this care was provided in patients homes. All of our care is provided free of charge - the NHS contributes just 25% of our annual running costs. For the rest we are totally reliant on the generosity of the public who support us through many different ways.
