We enjoy participating in different charity events, this time we are supporting “Friends of The Citizens Foundation”  and are off to this charity trek in .

Our training regime is in full swing for this charitable trek. The five days trek will start from Wadi Finan to Petra. The trek will be 85KM, across rocky terrain, slope between the black volcanic mountains and the dunes of the desert in very hot conditions as you can imagine not an easy task.

Help to make illiteracy history. Help the least privileged children by taking educational facilities into their urban slums. Staring from basic health and literacy education, essential local amenities, like clean running water, electricity and sanitation and continuing through to higher level. These children would otherwise be living a backstreet life open to the extreme elements of violence and crime. This also creates jobs in rural and urban slum areas.

To raise £55,000 is a huge challenge in its self. However when its broken to down to say 500 friends giving £110 each or 1000 friends giving £55 each, then together we can achieve this challenge with ease. Donations of, zakaat, sadakah, can also contributed towards this event.
