As some of you may be aware i recently lost my Grandfather, and shortly before his passing he was diognosed with AlzheimersThis is a condition i never gave much thought to until it directly effected myself and my family. Going from seeing and speaking to my Grandad in the early stages of the illness to the point of him not recognising or knowing me in the later stages. Well i can tell you it was heart breaking for the full family.

Because of this and knowing how it must be effecting other familys around the uk and wider world i have made it my goal to raise money in Memory of this wonderful man who meant the world to us all. I will be doing various events over the next 24 months to raise money for research into a cure for this condition. I have already raised over £400 pounds by doing  a 40km walk in Holland in September 0f this year.My grandad would have been 91 yrs old on the 22nd October 2008.
