Brian Hamer was an inspiration to all those around him as he fought his cancer with courage, determination and drive.  His illness not only affected Brian but his family and friends too - he is sorely missed.  I want to give him my best by running the Great North Run (13 mile) to raise awareness and help reduce the devastating effects that Cancer can cause.
