Our team was formed after a night of memorable tennis (and alledgedly some beverages....) and consists of Mikey Johnson, Brad Kneller, Colin Jakeaway and David Tomlinson.
The team has one goal in mind: to raise over £3000 for the Oxfam and Gurkha Welfare Trust by taking part in Trailwalker 2008 - 100 kilometers (60 miles!) in under 30 hours on the weekend of 19th / 20th July 2008 on the South Downs Way.
But we need YOU to make it happen.
How much should you give we hear you thinking? Well, just £5 can help Oxfam buy 2 buckets for collecting clean water, give a little more and £24 can buy a desk and bench for pupils to study at from the black board. Stretch as much as we will at the beginning of the walk and donate £50 and this will help pay a trainee teacher's salary in Kenya. It doesn't matter how much - it just matters that you give.
This will help us meet our fundraising commitment, of £3000 per team, which would buy a new school classroom!
Thank you for your generous support, and by all means come down to Brighton Race Course on 20 July 2008 to cheer us across the finish line.
PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO SELECT GIFT AID: Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
