 7 out of 100 Gambian children die by 1 year of age. By 5 years of age 13%  of boys, and 12% of girls are dead

 Many diseases are easily treated for less than the cost of a pint of beer in your local pub.

 There are only 90 doctors in the country so most health care is provided in nurse led health centres / clinics.

 Kubuneh Health is helping to support a health centre in the village of Kubuneh, the Gambia.

 We are providing medicines, help with wages for local staff, support for running the new ambulance.
