<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">Little Ava Mary-Ann Mitchell was born in November 2006 with a rare genetic brain condition called Miller-<span class="squiggly">Dieker</span> syndrome which causes fits.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">12 moths ago Ava lost her 4 year battle for survival. </span><br> <br><span style="color: #00ccff;"> We're doing a charity midnight mountain walk up <span class="squiggly">Moel</span> <span class="squiggly">Famau</span> to raise money for Zoe's Place Baby Hospice where Ava used to attend on a regular basis.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">Zoë’s Place is <strong>the only Baby Hospice in the UK</strong>. They provide specialist respite care, palliative care and end of life care, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">Their new Hospice has a top of the range play area, light sensory room, brand new single and twin bedrooms, bathroom facilities and gardens for their special babies.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">The Hospice building also contains a self contained flat in which parents may stay.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #00ccff;">The respite care provided at Zoë’s Place is open to babies from all over the country and has proved invaluable to so many of our families’ over the 16 years of our existence. Zoë’s Place does receive a grant from the Department of Health, but the majority of their annual running costs of £1,200,000 are raised by fundraising and public donations.</span></p>
