Story

Thanks for visiting my page! I'm running the London Marathon this year in my capoeira gear. I've been playing capoeira for a few years now, and train with Oficina da Capoeira.

The newly formed British Council of Capoeira is marking 2011 as a year to raise awareness of capoeira, so this seems like a great opportunity to help fight meningitis, and make more people aware of the brilliant art that is capoeira!

I won £100 from JustGiving for getting the most likes on Facebook to this inspirational song, do check it out.

Capoeira used to be illegal, and so everyone that played would get a nick name, an "apilado", to make it harder for informants. My apilado is Kung Fu, hence "Kung Fu's Marathon"

Feel free to come and cheer me on too, and, if you're really keen, you can see how my training's going!
