I would very much like to say a sincere and genuine thankyou to everyone who donated to the Martletts Hospice in response to my long swim.  Together we raised nearly £700 !!!  this was far better than i could have hoped for, and every single one of you has helped to improve somebodys' quality of life through the Martletts care.  Nicci, Tim, Phil Gill, and many others at Brighton & Hove Council gave generously, as did many many members of the David Lloyd Gym at Brighton Marina who put hundreds of pounds into the buckets at reception on the day, and the amazing staff, including my sister and Tara, very kindly counted all 768 lengths in the pool  Barry recovered my car as i had a crash on the way to the swim at 6am on the morning, he also had a replacement waiting for me at the end of the 9 hours in the water !

 

A big big thankyou to everyone who helped and donated, the Martletts need lots and lots of help and support.
