hi everyone, I have been lucky to secure a place in this year's London Marathon. I am very excited about it and know it will be a great challenge. I shall be running for my daughter's old school, where she was a pupil for 12yrs. The school is called Strathmore school, in Ham just outside Richmond, it is a 'special needs' school and has 47 pupils. My daughter Megan who has profound learning difficulties, with the help of very dedicated staff, spent 12 very happy years there. For this reason I want 'to give something back' and help them in raising money for a new gym. So please I hope you can sponsor me and help Strathmore School get their gym. I DID IT!!!!!! YESTERDAY WAS AMAZING AND MANAGED TO COMPLETE THE MARATHON IN 6HRS 22MINS. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME TO CHEER ME ON. VERY SORE LEGS AND TOES THIS MORNING BUT ITS WORTH IT. LOTS OF LOVE KYRA (MARATHON RUNNER!)
