UPDATE  Unfortunately, due to adverse weather, well high winds in particular, I was unable to do the jump on 19th June. It has now been rescheduled for the 31st of July so that gives more time to reach my target! Please, if you have not got round to supporting Archie yet, feel free to donate now!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I have always wanted to jump out of an aircraft! Why? Because I can! I turned 50 last September (honestly!) so it's now or never. I am therefore doing a tandem jump from 10,000 feet which sounds OK. It's actually 2 miles and that sounds not so good! Freefall for the first bit and then a gentle float for the last 5 minutes. Oh Boy! Rather than just jump and land I thought I should try and prise some cash from friends, family, acquaintances, enemies and everyone else that knows me, hence you are receiving this humble request. Would you please sponsor my jump in aid of The Archie Foundation. You probably know that this is the childrens charity associated with Sick Kids Hospital in Aberdeen. I know children who have been seriously ill and have benefitted from the care in Sick Kids. I suspect you probably do too, or know someone who does. Any donation large or small will go directly to the cause, none will be siphoned off for expenses in anyway so whatever you can give will 100% benefit the charity. I know that times are hard for everybody but anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time and your generosity!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
