Thanks for visiting my page. Here's a bit more info about the event & why I'm doing it. About 25 years ago, I met my friend as a teenager, and we did all the crazy things you do when you're a teenager, stealing our parents ciggies, going to all night parties and lying to our parents about who's house we were actually at, walking up to Alderley Edge in the middle of the night to watch the sun rise.... we had a ball, and when I think of my teenage years, I think of my friend and how she shaped them and made them better.

Since then we have grown up, had children (2 each) and do not see each other quite so much, but she's the kind of friend you don't need to see all the time, we meet up and start where we left off, and now we are in our late 30's, we watch our beautiful children play together.

In October last year my friend was diagnosed with MND. I can't put into words how I felt when I heard this, disbelief, utter shock. It's a cliche, but when you hear this kind of news about someone you love, you always think, why did it happen to this person, of all people, who is so good and kind and amazing. But this is life. It happens.

Last October when I heard the news, I didn't know much about Motor Neurone Disease, I didn't know it was both incurable and terminal, but it is. So how can we change that? Maybe we can't but we can try. So here I am arranging this event to raise money for MNDA & to raise awareness. This disease seriously needs more funding.

So.... the event, if you can donate £15 via this page, you can come to the Ladies Pamper Night event in Wilmslow on Wednesday, 16th May.
