WHAT A RESULT!

You will presumably have heard by now that all the yachts made it across from the UK to Cherbourg, albeit not all on the same day due to bad weather.  Some went over on Friday 28th, some on 29th and the rest on 30th - a wonderful determination existed within all the crews to make quite sure they achieved what was in the end an incredible journey.

Laurie Bates, Christine Agnew and myself, Di Hudson, would like to congratulate everyone who made it across and who created such a fabulous atmosphere of guts and fun whilst confronting dreadful weather, high winds and sea sickness.

We would also like to thank all our supporters who have helped us raised such an incredible amount.  What has been donated here is just the tip of the iceberg - many ladies have individual Just Giving pages and many more have a considerable amount donated on sponsorship forms.
