Newton Stewart Hospital serves as an important part of our community here in rural Galloway.  It not only acts as a first point of call for numerous minor injuries it is also a crutical place for respite and recuperation of our elderly.  We have all know elderly relatives who have been in Dumfries Hospital (some 50 miles away) having operations or recovering from illnesses and we know how isolated they have felt, so being able to come back and be close to family and friends can boost their moral and recovery better than medication alone.  So please help us support this little 'in stature' but 'big in importance' hospital.
