Personal message:

Hi, I am sorry to bother you however I feel that I must leave a legacy to my friend Lady (German Shepherd Dog) who was like a sister to me.  Lady was the kindest / loyal and friendly dog I have ever had the pleasure to meet - even though she was a German Shepard which will surprise many people!

In March/April of this year lady was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunatly by the time we relaised Lady was ill it was to late to treat the cancer. She was 9yrs old at the time. The Vet stated she could live for hours, days or even months and that one morning we would wake up to find her dead . Well Lady was a fighter and loyal so she survived until the 19Th July 2007 when she was put to sleep.

As I said before I want Lady to leave behind a legacy, as she was such a wonderful friend. This Legacy is the promotion of the Animal Cancer Trust Charity (ACT). I honestly think that if I had known about this charity at the start, maybe something else could have been done to help her? Or at least I would have personally received some support as prior to Lady being diagnosed I felt cancer was rare in dogs.

Please can you donate to this worthy yet hardly talked about cause!

Thank you for your support Lady and Rachel
