After a year of no exercise, I am once again going to run the mighty distance of 5k for those beautiful children in Kenya. I recently returned from my second visit and the poverty impacted me just as much as the last time.
What struck me more this time was the potential some of these people have, intelligence, skills, ambition, and they just cannot use them. They are victims of their circumstances and for some, no matter how hard they try, there is no way out. So by donating money, we can give them the chances they don't have to fulfil the potential they do.
