At Macmillan, we will move mountains to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We’re doing whatever it takes. But without your help we can’t support everyone who needs us. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Help us on our journey to raise £10,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.  We have chosen Macmillan because they improve the lives of so many people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer and two million of us are living with it right now.

We are extremely grateful for your support, so everyone who makes a donation here before Wednesday 1 June 2011, will be entered in to a prize draw to win a limited edition case of our Le Voyage du Chai au Quai.

Donating through our JustGiving page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never be sold and you’ll never receive unwanted emails. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money direct to Macmillan and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

We plan to re-trace the original wine trading route from Bordeaux to England on-board a beautiful restored 1907 wooden sail boat, The Irene. We will carry a cargo of our limited edition Claret,‘Le Chai Voyage’, Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux 2009.  To celebrate our safe arrival in England, we will host a fine wine auction at our flagship store The Arch at Vinopolis.

You can also follow our voyage to see how we’re getting on.

Simply tick on the Laithwaites Wine contact preference box to make sure we can contact the winner.
