<p><span style="color: #333399;">Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the "3 Peaks Challenge Team". </span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333399;">The challenge was to climb Helvellyn (3118 ft), Scafell (3162 ft) and Great Gable (2949 ft) in the Lake District, Cumbria UK in 24 hours, on June 17th.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #333399;">The team included Pierre-David Bertin, Chris Godding, Jan Hutchings, Michael MacCarthy, Isar Rosenberg and Helen Thurgood.</span></p>
<div dir="ltr"><span class="144395706-07072011" style="color: #333399;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">In summary, we achieved our goal on a very wet and windy day in June and raised over £12,000 for Kids Company including the contribution from the Morgan Stanley Foundation. It was a tough but great day and a victory for team spirit. The 50mph winds and sleet at the top of our first peak were nothing compared to the endless steps of Helvellyn to finish but the good humour of the team, beauty of the country and purpose of our task were more than enough to speed us on our way.</span></span></div>
