On 9th August I am taking part in the London Triathlon.
That's a 750 metre swim, a 20k bike ride and a 5k run.
With only a few weeks to go there's no time to procrastinate.
I've tuned up my old (but loyal) bike, dusted off my running shoes and yes, even admitted that I can no longer fit into my old wetsuit.
So why am I ending my exile from physical exertion? Three reasons. Because it's time for a challenge, because it's time to rediscover my inner six-pack and because in doing so I hope to raise lots of money for the good folks at Farm Africa.
Donating through this page is quick, easy and secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer then 25% Gift Aid is added to your donation. (help@justgiving.org for any questions)
If everyone who reads this donates then we'll reach the target of £2k. It'll be a challenge but I'd be pleased to help raise it for such a great cause.
Of course, I'll be keeping you up to date with my progress. Thanks for your encouragement and support!
Best wishes
