Story
I am running the Bupa Great Manchester Run 2013 (which is 10km) on the 26th may for Cure Leukaemia. This charity gives patients access to potentially life-saving medicines and is focused on researching and developing innovative new drugs and treatments that could lead to people with leukaemia having a chance at life they may not have had when being diagnosed. This is a cause close to my heart, as last year my best friend's older sister, Alice, passed away from the disease. This charity was important to her, and so now I am running to raise money in memory of her, but also to ensure that people with blood cancer get the support she did, and hopefully so that at some point in the future people will have a much higher chance at fighting this disease because of the new drugs and treatments developed.
Anything you might be able to donate will be very much appreciated.
Thankyou, Lana
