On the 10 July Fergy & Lance will be cycling the South Downs Way,from Winchester to Eastbourne covering 105 miles - the majority of which is off road and along the way climbing over 13,500 ft - pretty much the equivalent height of Mt Everest Base Camp 1......
The goal is to complete it in a day and raise as much money as we can for this great cause.
Why are we raising money for Brain Tumour Research...
On the 19th of August 2009 our friend's son, Taylan, passed away at the age of 7. He had been diagnosed with a very rare and inoperable brain tumour the previous year.
His parents, Andy and Figen, have founded Taylan's Project http://www.taylansproject.com/ and are now fundraising for http://www.braintumourresearch.org/ to raise awareness and much needed funds. In the UK more children and people under the age of 40 die of a brain tumour than any other cancer however research into brain tumours receives less than 1% of the national spend on cancer research.
See more about Taylan and the incredible work being done to raise awareness and funds for BrainTumour work at www.taylansproject.com and www.braintumourresearch.org
