In the last few years a December donation for our local food bank has became an office tradition. Last year each team across the office donated a (very generous) box of goods and the total amount of food took hours and numerous car trips to transport to the food bank warehouse!

This year is more challenging due to working from home and the restrictions we are all having to live with. Sadly also, the pandemic has seen a vastly increased number of people needing to use the food banks services due to COVID and the subsequent effect on jobs and the economy, with the North East continuing to be hit hard with no end yet in sight. Therefore it is really important we find a way to support them, and an online cash donation is the easiest way to do this, meaning the food bank can use this money to buy goods to give directly to their clients.

We would love to hit the £1000 mark, which works out under £5 per person across the office, so we are asking everyone to contribute £5 or whatever you can afford. Remember to add Gift aid too!
