We are the largest charity dedicated to kidney research in the UK. Kidney disease ruins and destroys lives. Treatments are gruelling, relentless. There is no cure. We say this isn't good enough. We will transform kidney health. Kidney disease ends here.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

You can view my blog, updated daily, at http://lejogon.blogspot.com/

We are Jonny Heald, a Primary School teacher from Warwickshire, Tom McDonald, a Secondary School teacher from the Midlands, and James Brooks, a business analyst from Derby.

We are looking to raise money in support of Sarah Biddle, who was born with duplex kidneys and has been diagnosed as having limited functionality in one of them and is unfortunately unable to take part in this challenge.

We are therefore raising money for the fantastic Kidney Research UK. A charity that fund life-saving research into kidney disease, improve the quality of life of those with kidney disorders and to increase public awareness of kidney problems.

We have serveral prizes up for grabs too! For every penny per mile you sponsor us, £10 total for our 1000 mile challenge, you will be entered into a prize draw to win one of the following prizes that have been kindly donated to us.

1) a) An Ariel Atom driving experience - courtasy of www.racing-school.co.uk

1) b) A mini cooper 'Italian job' driving experience - courtasy of www.racing-school.co.uk

2) A champagne meal for two at Momenti's in Leamington Spa

3) A round of golf for two at Sinfin golf course, Derbyshire

4) 2 x Twenty20 tickets to go and see Warwickshire at Edgbaston this summer

5) A signed match ball, that has been used in a match this season, from Coventy City FC

A special mention has to go to Wildmoor Spa, Stratford upon Avon, who have given us professional, clear and helpful advice in perusing our adventure. Without them we would not have had a clue where to start.
