This July I am cycling from London to Paris to
raise money for the amazing Environmental Justice Foundation.
I'm going the distance for this small, but
hugely effective charity because they do a great job working to get justice for
people in many of the poorest countries whose lives and natural environments
are threatened by corruption and greed.
From preventing chronic health impacts
associated with pesticide poisoning by securing national and global bans on the
most toxic pesticides, to protecting our oceans and the communities that most
depend on them, from illegal pirate fishing - and a huge amount in the middle
for climate refugees, shrimp and cotton production...they do a big job with
little money and so they really need our support.
I'm hoping you'll help me, help them by
sponsoring me on this 4-day, 300 mile journey.
In return I promise to keep you up to date
(sans info on blisters and achy bums) on my challenge and how your donation has
helped EJF's work protecting people and the planet.
Donating through
JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with
JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you
donate, they’ll send your money directly to EJF and make sure Gift Aid is
reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most
efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs
for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now so EJF
can give a voice and a future to those most affected by environmental
injustice.
