Way back in 1973 I was born with Hirschsprungs disease (a disease of the intestines/bowels) but thankfully I was lucky enough to have been born at the Sheffield Childrens Hospital.They worked miracles for me,and now,33 years on,I want to be able to give something back.

I have entered the 'La Ruta De Los Conquistadores' ,a 3 day mountain bike adventure race in Costa Rica,and all sponsorship monies received will go to the hospital.The race is promoted as 'The toughest mountain bike race on earth' and with 9000 meters of climbing,over 320 muddy kilometers,through dense jungle,rivers and up and over a 3000 meter volcano,I can believe the hype.

As you can see,this charity has a really special place in my heart,so please give generously.
