Three years ago Doug Ousterman died a nasty death from Motor Neurone Disease. He was Fred's brother-in-law and the father of two lovely young kids. We have been lucky enough to get the opportunity to walk the last degree latitude to the North Pole. Temperatures will be down to -40C, hopefully too cold for the bears. We will walk about 80-100 miles depending on the direction of flow of the ice. We will be pulling sleds weighing around 50kg. The journey is expected to take 7-10 days. We would like to raise money for the care and support of families going through this wretched illness.
