Training hardcore now!! Just trekked mt snowdon.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am currently in training for the 25 Miles that I will have to trek daily to make up the 442km over the 10 day trek of the great wall. I chose to support Lepra becuase it offers basic healthcare for the worlds most poor countries. They offer help and support to the sufferers of the worlds most fatal diseases and conditions including, Leprosy, TB, HIV/Aids, Lymphatic Filarasis and Milaria.
About the Trek
Our trek is very varied, as we pass through woodland and terraced farmland, and follow the contours of the beautiful hills and mountains in remote areas north of Beijing. We follow old sections of the Great Wall, as well as restored sections with smooth flagstones and lots of steps!
This challenge is physically demanding and emotionally draining!
