Thankyou for visiting my just giving page. Im Laura and have decided to participate in The Great Yorkshire 10k Run 5th September 2010 to hopefully raise money and awareness for a charity very close to my heart. James Whale Fund For Kidney Cancer. My Dad passed away with kidney cancer on 22 January 2008 and the only word I can use to describe the whole situation is 'devastating' since then I have developed a drive and determination to help other people that have their lives are affected by cancer. I have completed the Race For Life 5 years in a row and have raised over £1000 for Cancer Research. I have chosen something different this year to push myself one step further and I am hoping you will help me by giving as much as you can to raise money for a very worthy charity.

The James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer is the UK’s leading specialist kidney cancer charity. It seeks to help reduce the harm caused by kidney cancer by increasing knowledge and awareness, providing patient information and by supporting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease.
