Great Scottish Run Half Marathon 2014 · 5 October 2014 ·

The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.

Thank you so much everyone! I actually can't believe this. You've all been so generous. Because of all your support I've upped my target. Training has started, hopefully i'll be flying round the course in October :D. Thanks again everyone!

Hi there,

I have decided to take one step further from a 10k and attempt a half marathon. I am running it in memory of my Dad, John, and to raise some money for a related charity. I know he was proud of my progress with my running because just a few years ago I could barely run a metre haha! So I'm doing this to keep up the running, stay motivated and do him proud.

Any donation would be much appreciated!

The charity I am running for is the Brain Research Trust.
