Four people, one goal, 100 kilometres, 30 hours.19-20 July 2008

Sometimes you get the chance to achieve something really great. Trailwalker is one of those chances. It's a 100 km trek for teams of four to complete in under 30 hours.

The route follows the South Downs Way, finishing in Brighton - it's a challenging journey that will change lives. With Trailwalker the challenge is both physical and mental, and we must work together as a team to achieve it. Trailwalker is not just a challenge, it is also a commitment, not only on the day, but in the months running up to the event, as this event requires training. Many people think this event is 'only walking' but its actually two an half marathons, plus an ascent equivalent to that of Ben Nevis

If we walk at the normal speed of 3 miles an hour, it will take 24 hours, so allowing time for eating, and for blister care, there won't be any time to sleep!! By sponsoring me and my team you will be helping raise money for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust. These organisations share a purpose - to end poverty and to help poor people to improve their lives.
