The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Lots of people probably haven't heard of the Little Princess Trust, but they supply human hair wigs to children suffering from hair loss as a result of chemotherapy or alopecia. With human hair wigs, you can cut, curl, straighten and dye/bleach it because it is not made of plastic and will not melt. I've decided to shave my head and donate all my hair so it can be made into wigs. Even though it takes about 8-10 pony tails to make one wig, and can take up to 6-8 weeks, I still think it is worth while because another child will be able to feel normal again, and they won't feel as self-concious as they did when they didn't have hair. An example of the Little Princess trust helping a child is Emily who developed alopecia when she was just 2. She lost all her hair and has never known really what it is like having hair. I feel sorry for all these children because some don't understand why this is happenening.

So please help me raise money for this trust because they are so helpful and care about others! Thank you! :-)
