I am getting the logo of the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust tattooed on my arm for 2 reasons. I want to honour the people who saved my dads life with a permanant tribute and raise some money to help keep them in the air and saving lives.

My father was involved in a near fatal motorbike accident, sustaining 9 broken ribs, puncturing both lungs, a broken shoulder blade and extensive bruising. He spent 2 months in hospital and needed life saving surgery. If he had been taken to hospital via road ambulance he would of died, but thanks to the Air Ambulance he is alive today.

I took him recently to meet the crew who air lifted him to hospital, all of whom were amazing people. This visit has helped him in his recovery.
