I work for Close Brothers Motor Finance who are dedicated to raising as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK in order to aide them to continue their work in trying to find a cure to beat this horrible disease.

Cancer is now believed to effect 1 in 2 people at some point in their lives whether it be them coping with the disease or a family member. With the wonderful work Cancer Research are doing the survival rate of Cancer is now far greater.

Myself and seven of my colleagues have put ourselves forward to complete the Ben Nevis Challenge in the Scottish Highlands on the 20th of June.

The challenge consists of a climb of 1343m up Ben Nevis followed by a 25 Mile bike ride through Scottish Highlands and a 3km canoe course on Loch Lochy.

This is going to be a mental and physical challenge which is going to require a lot of training and preparation on my part and I'm sure on the day it will take all of our strength and determination to get through the challenge as quickly as possible. The challenge starts at 0600am and most teams will be expected to finish in under 9 hours; so as you can see it is a big challenge that is likely to be physically and mentally exhausting for me and my colleagues.

We are all dedicated to this challenge and to raising as much money as we possible can for this amazing charity.
