Lovelies, thank you so much for visitng my fundraising page for Help the Hospices.
As you may know, my amazing Grandfather, James Billy Nobles passed away in incredibly supportive and loving hospice care last year. I'm running in his honour, in a giant ballgown, as suits my southern ante-bellum heritage passed down by him and my greatest inspiration, my steel-magnolia Grandmother, Rae-Alice who is now living in North Carolina having been supported so well by hospices there during the difficult last days of my Grandfather's wonderful life.
All the pain, ludicriousness and chafing of running the marathon in a corseted ballgown are well worth it for any donations you are able to make to Help the Hospices to help them do the most amazing, inspiring and, frankly, difficult work I've ever seen in action.
Together with my partner, Jan, we are running a huge raffle and some parties to up the fundraising totals, so the more you give the better your chances of getting an invtie and/or a prize -- so please give generously!
Thank you so much.
xx Laura
