My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am going to be running the London 10k to raise money for Niamh Curry, an incredible, brave, 5 year old girl who is local to my area, and attended the pre-school of my son's school. In a nutshell, Niamh has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a form of cancer, and Niamh's campaign is aiming to raise a total of £450,000 to send Niamh to America to receive the treatment she desperately needs.

Being local to the area, and having a son of the same age, Niamh's story really touched my heart and I wanted to do something to feel like I am helping in some way.

Please visit www.niamhsnextstep.com for more information.

In the meantime, if you can afford even a pound it would be most gratefully received! Those of you who know me well will be aware that this is going to be a HUGE challenge for me. I don't exactly treat my body like a temple, I have never set foot in a gym, I cant run a mile (as at March 2012!!!!) and I have done literally NO regular exercise since school. Oh, and I love cake. So please please please help me get through the next few months of extremely painful training sessions by donating whatever you can spare to this worthwhile cause - you will quite literally help to change the life of Niamh and her family.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.
