My name is Lauren Johnston. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.

My friend Emma and I are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2010 to raise money for Help for Hero’s. We choose this cause as it is very close to our hearts, as my partner is currently serving In the British Army and Emma's father is currently serving in the Royal Air Force.

Help for Hero’s is a charity which help wounded service men and women. They deserve our help and this is why, my friend and I, are taking ourselves completely out of our comfort zone. We will be pushed to our physical and mental limits, to help the people that deserve our respect and support for what they do for us and our country. Just think if the British Army and other Armed Forces were not how they are, what would our lives be like now?

So, however much you decide to donate to this amazing and beneficial charity, I appreciate it and I know the people who rely on this special cause will do so too.

Just remember, our lives would not be the same without these men and women.
