Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Chris's daughter Lauren was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in 2005 at the age of 12 months and lives a relatively normal life thanks to support from CF groups. Through greater understanding of the disease children are now tested for the condition at birth which means they can be treated as soon as possible.

We are undertaking a 6 day, 90km trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to help them research this life-threatening disease.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
