Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In September 2013, I'll be hopping on a plane to Tanzania to make the climb up Kimbo. For anyone that knows me, you'll be well aware of my regular disgust for exercise and anything (other than sunbathing) that makes me sweat.
You'll also know that I'm more accustomed to strapping a piece of wood to my feet and 'hooning' down mountains at great speeds - not without injury - than climbing up one.
Despite these things, I'm pushing myself as far as I can go to climb up Kili and raise as much as possible for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
It takes a colossal £1.7 million a year to run the Cornwall Air Ambulance, which receives no funding from central Government. The slogan says it all - "funded by the people of Cornwall."
I plead with you now - make me train - I am lazy and would much rather do anything than go for a run at the best of times, let alone if there's a chance I could be sunbathing/in the pub/not in the rain.
All money donated and motivation given is greatly appreciated!
