Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!
Paul, Mark, Dave and Stuart have entered the tough 2009 Samworth Charity Challenge! We have discussed at length how to raise money, and agonised over details about training regimes, but now with just a few months left, we plan to embark upon a 'Rocky' style excercise program in order to complete the task!!

We would like to raise at least £2,000 with your help, so please give generously.
Keep coming back for photo and blog updates of how were getting on!!
The Challenge itself, which is taking place at Coniston Water in the Lake District in June 2009 is for a team of 4. 'Lazy Boys' have decided to take the tough route which requires an extremely high level of fitness (yet to be gained). To complete the challenge we will each have to finish a walk (mountain trek!) of 14km with a climb of 1056m, a white water canoe ride which is 11km long and a mountain bike race of 30km with a height gain of 500m. We have all also got to take part in a compulsory abseil, all within a twelve hour time limit, although, in order to win, we will need to complete in less than 9 hours!!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
