Katie's cousin’s son, Jackson, was born last year and diagnosed with a rare genetic eye condition called Leber's congenital amaurosis (LCA) which effectively means hes blind.  As some of you may know Steve has been blind in one eye since birth so both Katie and Steve are extra motivated to give Jackson his sight using research, technologies and innovations that were not available to Steve 41 years ago!

We are raising money for research into Jackson's condition and hope to help give him the gift of sight in the not too distant future by Treking the Great Wall of China from 10th -18th October 2009!  Our trek took us along sections of the Great Wall, one of the world's most fascinating and important archeological finds and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
