Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I have taken on the challenge of the Plymouth half marathon! Arrgghh! Despite it most definatley being a huge challenge for me, having come accross The Dandelion Trust For Children it has given me the drive to do it!

Being a mummy and also a mental health nurse I absolutely feel the benefits of The Dandelion Trust help so many deserving children with individual needs. I love the way in which their individualised, personal and natural therapies and support assist children and families re-engage.  The Dandelion Trust For Children work with children between the ages of 7 and 13 and their families: who have significant emotional or behavioural difficulties, Who are excluded from or refusing school, Who are struggling with effects of trauma or abuse or with parents who may have mental or physical health difficulties.

I think above all I ask you to take a moment and realise that these issues can effect any one of us at any time in our life or someone we know or love and care for.
