Personal message:

Thank you for visiting our donations page. Please consider green travel when making long journeys (by plane, train or automobile). This is your opportunity to counter carbon emissions produced through travel. This is extremely important to protect the environment for future generations. In Lesotho it is essential as logging is causing widescale devestation to the landscape and the Basotho people. Durham Lesotho LINK through their 'Leaves 4 Lesotho' project aim to plant and care for trees in suitable locations throughout the country. You donate to compensate for your emissions and we will do the rest...

We will:
Purchase appropriate indigenous trees in Lesotho
Plant and maintain these trees
Erect fencing to protect the saplings from animals and loggers
Employ local people to look after these trees
Use part of the donation to help fund other environmental projects in Lesotho

Many thanks for your ongoing support.
