Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, you are clearly a fabulous person.

I am raising money to allow VESL to accomodate, feed and insure me whilst I am volunteering on one of their projects in the Children's Village orphanage in Guntur near Hyderabad, in August. Along with 5 other students from MMU, I will be assisting with English language classes as well as coming up with all sorts of creative play activities and generally making myself usefull.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Volunteers For Educational Support And Learning will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I also have to raise money for my flight, and I am doing this separately as it is not technically charity fundraising and am putting on curry night events for family and friends.

Could I ask that if you are coming to a curry night then please do not pay curry night money in here, as I can not use it for my flight as it will have gone directly into VESL's bank account. If I somehow manage to raise more than is required for the flight then it will end up here but if I raise more than is needed here I can't divert it to use for the flight. Sorry to to be difficult, any donation is of course very welcome!
