24 peaks challenge · 6 May 2011

Newcastle Hospitals Charity is the official Charity of Newcastle Hospitals. Home of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and the Great North Children's Hospital, we help our hospitals go further by making a positive difference for our patients, staff and communities.

Story

This year i will be tackling one of this country's hardest challenges, the 24 peak's challenge. Along with 7 others & bella (health permitting) i will be taking on 24 peaks over 2400ft under 24hours. We start at buttermere in the lakes at 5am & scale 10 peaks includind scarfell, englands highest mountain. Covering 17.5miles we should be finished late friday night. A brief stop over at Kirkstone pass then its up early again on the saturday for day 2. 10 miles & 14 peaks & over 13000ft climbed/walked & scrambled & all in the name of charity.

Our chosen charity is the sir bobby robson foundation which raises money for early detection of cancer, something most people have been effected by. If you could donate just a few quid i would be gratefull
