Story
There are three times as many people in Britain living with cancer than there were 30 years ago. In fact over a million people have had a cancer diagnosis, and one in three of us will be diagnosed at some point in our lives. Each and everyone of us will either know someone or know of someone who has been diagnosed with cancer. Macmillan are there to support the individual and the family but they need your support.
We have decided to undertake this challenge on behalf of Macmillan for our families who have both been affected by cancer. We will undertake to climb Kilimanjaro on 26th June this year. Kilimanjaro is the highest free standing mountain in the world (19,345 ft) and the highest peak in Africa. We are aiming to raise £6,500 for Macmillan and need your help.
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us on line.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
