### Click here , here and here for pictures from the head shave ###
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us. Thank you also to Clare and Michelle from 'The Barbershop' who stayed open late and chopped off our locks!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My wife, Karen, was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia in 1996 when pregant with our youngest daughter.
We've seen the advances that Leukaemia Research has been able help with in the last 10+ years and our eldest daughter, Jade, decided to raise some money for them by having her hair and mine shaved off! For those that know me my hair is long enough to almost sit on!
So come on, dig deep and you'll be supporting a very worthwhile cause - as well as forcing me to have a haircut!!!!
The date for this will be the 19th July and I'll make sure a few photos are available afterwards.
*** The Head shave will take place at 4pm at the 'Barbershop' on Poulton Road near the Halifax Building Society ***
We have decided to donate our hair to the Little Princess Trust (www..littleprincesses.org.uk) who provide wigs for children with cancer. The Gazette has done an article and can been seen here
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
