I am part of a 6 man team that will be taking up the challenge of doing the 3 peaks in 24 hours.

The 3 peak challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks, respectively, in England, Wales and Scotland within 24 hours. They are Scafell Pike, Snowden and Ben Nevis.

We have 3 months to train for this challenge so it will be lots of hard work to be ready in time but worth every aching moment to help raise money for c4c : www.c4change.co.uk

The money raised will go towards land for the new school, the feeding programme and the general up keep of the every day costs of helping those in Africa. c4c are currently helping towards the education, rehabilitation and feeding of more than 200 children (and growing). If I can reach the £1000 target I would like to put some towards buying them some sports equipment like a cricket set and a football kit as they really love their sport.

I have been very fortunate that Caroline from Fit Body Fix : http://www.fitbodyfix.com/ has sponsored me by allowing me to train with them so I can improve my fitness for the 3 Peak challenge. The fitness sessions are lots of fun and lots of hard work, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight or would like to improve their fitness. With only a few sessions I already feel the benefits.
