RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Peter Hibbert, Andrew Hibbert, Mark Romanowski, Richard Harmer and Johnny Ratcliffe are planning on cycling non-stop from Leeds to London in a day - all in the aid of charity.

The ride will be approximately 220miles. Whilst we are all keen cyclists, I’m sure you will agree that this challenge will be a real test of our endurance.

We will be raising money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in memory of Peter & Andrew's Dad, Colin, who suddenly passed away a few months ago. Colin was a keen sailor who strongly believed in this very worthwhile charity.

This challenge will be taking place on May 26th 2012. Please feel free to come along and support at various points along the route depending upon where you live.

We are hoping to collect sponsorship from family, friends, teammates, colleagues, Jacobs (Peter & Mark's company) and anyone else who might be interested.

Many thanks for taking the time to visit our page.

Peter, Andrew, Mark, Rick & Johnny
