To those who know the Lee Mead Timeline Advent Calendar and its associated fundraising appeal from previous years ... welcome back! To those who have found it for the first time ... enjoy!
This year's charity is RNIB. It's a cause that is close to my heart, as my Dad is one of many older people suffering from Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), an incurable condition which affects the central vision. Thankfully it does not lead to total sight loss but does make life more challenging for sufferers, at a time in their lives when challenges can be abundant.
RNIB supports nearly two million people with sight loss, with information, support and advice - I hope you will support RNIB with the same generosity you have shown to the Timeline's past appeals which have raised nearly £3,500 for a number of different charities.
This year, Lee's fans have had the opportunity to vote for their favourite Meady moments from the past four and a half years for inclusion in the Calendar. We are blessed with a huge wealth of such moments to draw on, and the voting has produced a fabulous selection ranging from the most memorable to some almost forgotten gems.
The Advent Calendar is now 'live' and I hope will prove as popular as ever, and if you want to see more than the snippets it contains, why not delve deeper into the Lee Mead Timeline itself!
