Pre-eclampsia is the most common of the serious pregnancy conditions, affecting one pregnancy in 10 or 70,000 women each year. Action on Pre-Eclampsia aims to raise public and professional awareness, improve care and ease or prevent physical and emotional suffering caused by this potentially devastating condition.

My story

Hi, and thanks for visiting my fund raising page

I have decided to up my running, to now attempt to complete a Marathon - previously I've managed a couple of half marathons and a 15 miler, so 26.2 miles is somewhat of a challenge!

I have set my goal at under 4 hours..........4hours of running.....!!! This means a relatively strict diet and reduced booze intake from January or 4 months.....

I will also be asking T-Mobile to match my sponsorship.

I will be running for 'Action on Pre Eclampsia' and as the 'about our charity' explains, this is a condition that affects 1 in 10 pregnant women and can have quite devastating consequences, both to mother and baby!
